MyFallen Gaming Community (MFGC) strives to provide members with a thriving gaming community where they can have fun, experience new games, and meet great people in a safe environment.

 

We have created these guidelines to describe what is expected from all members of MFGC. Please take note that this may not entirely encompass all forms of inappropriate or offensive behavior, and that the staff of MFGC will address all behavior that is seen as inappropriate.These rules and guidelines will apply to usernames, forum posts, signatures, and anything that is posted anywhere as part of the MyFallen community.

 

Please take note that being a member of the MyFallen community is a privilege and not a right. The staff of MFGC reserves the right to restrict access to the community if one breaks these rules, including but not limited to your failure to abide to these guidelines.

 

If you feel we have missed something please send a private message (PM) to Jehosophat_MFGC or Queen of Scots.

 

 

English Only:
While we are excited to have members from all parts of the world, we require members to use English for communication on the forum and ingame.
Behavior:
Treat each other well. Most, if not all, communities, are at their best when all members treat one another with respect and courtesy. We ask that when being a member of MFGC you use the utmost respect towards all players in a civilized and kind manner.
Proper Posting:
Think before you post. Be sure what you are posting is well thought out , follows the rules, and add to the community.
Post in the section of the forum most relevant to what you have to say.
Respond to threads in a way that adds to the conversation and stay on topic.
Avoid repeating topics. Search the forum first to see if anyone has already started a thread about what you want to post.
Makes sure all links you include in posts follow the forum rules as well.
No double posting.
No flaming for grammar or spelling.
Do not bump threads.
Do not use MFGC to advertise any of your personal projects or try to sell anything.

 

Images:

 

You may post pictures without any comment as long as they are on topic. Pictures are restricted to a maximum size of 640x480 pixels. If you want to post something larger than that, please provide only the link for the picture or place it in a spoiler using [spoiler]image[spoiler].

 

Signatures:

 

Images used as signature must not exceed 800 x 150 pixels.
If you are using text as your signature, it must not exceed a font size of 26 and be no longer than three lines.
Copyright: Users of MFGC who post media to the forums should not:
Post copyrighted content.
Post content traced/heavily influenced from copyrighted media

 

Inappropriate Content:

 

Insults: No personal insults against another member or moderator.
Obscenity and Gore: No excessive blood, no disembowelment or dismemberment, no inappropriate references to bodily functions or structure, and nothing even remotely pornographic.
Bullying/Threatening: We do not allow this type of behavior in any form, whether it is cyber or in real life.
Discrimination: We will not tolerate any discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, heritage, or religion. This includes but is not limited to language, either clear or masked, or links that:
promote hatred, allude to racial or ethnic slurs, suggest a religion or race or any people group be treated in a negative manner create groups within the community that discriminate against races, religions, nationality, heritage, or other people groups encourage others to single out, shame, or ostracize a member or group of members Impersonating a MFGC Staff Member: This is strictly forbidden and those found doing so will face severe punishment. This includes but is not limited to: Claiming to have a high or powerful position on the MFGC staff
Claiming to be able to punish or ban members
Claiming to have special privileges from the staff.

 

Discussion of Rule Breaking and/or Punishments:
At no time are you to discuss rule breaking on the forum or any punishments, yours or otherwise. These are to be handled through the proper channels. Reports content properly on the forums and use http://support.myfallen.net/ to discuss any of your punishments. MFGC’s policy is to only discuss these things with the party involved.

 

Private Information:

 

Respect the personal privacy of others both on and off the MFGC forums. We expect that members will not post any private information about others,.

 

Reporting Content:
Reported content is handled quickly by forum moderators to ensure the rules are followed and MFGC’s mission statement is being fulfilled. If you see something that looks like spam, please be sure to report it immediately as well.

 

Based on the severity of the incident, accounts may be punished or suspended using the following protocol:

 

Warning: A warning is issued for small offenses and there are two types.
Formal Warning: Will add points to a member’s account.
Informal Warning: Does not add points and serves only to provide notice about a specific rule or guideline.This will be done through a forum PM.
Ban: Bans are much more serious and there are two types as well.
Temporary Ban: A short term ban is used when members accumulate too many warning points and typically last 30 days.
Permanent Ban: This is self-explanatory. This is used primarily for spambots, but may also be used for members who continuously disregard the rules and commit an egregious act against the community.

 

Warning points are removed from an account 30 days after they are received. Warning points trigger automatic bans as follows:

 

2 points 1 day
4 points 7 days
6 points 2 weeks
8 points 1 month
10 points 3 months
12 points 6 months
14 points 1 year
16 points PERMANENT

 

Of course, MFGC reserves the right to adjust this on a case by case basis. If a serious infraction is committed, more time may be added to the warning or ban as deemed appropriate by staff.
