hEEY there. This is an rp. wow the explanation is long, sorry, i'll try to sum it up under all the crap. Anyways, basically, this RP is based in an RPG-Styled world, where you RP characters that live in that world. The setting's in a fictional country, with magic and crap. Oh and monsters, that too, which people try to fight off. Because of all those monsters, people started founding guilds, which gathered people strong enough to counter them, and sent them off on quests to defeat them, (Guilds also offer quests put up by people that don't involve straight out killing monsters, like searching for a certain magical item, capturing a theif, etc.) Once a quest is completed, the guild pays whatever reward to whoever completed the quest. The country has 5 areas, each with their own main city, Kahaer (The capital), Aldrohr (Seaside), Lupiur (Forest), Iniothr (Desert) and Droghthr (Mountains). Droghthr is in the northern part of the country, Lupiur in the west, Iniothr in the east, Aldrohr in the south and Kahaer in the middle. Your characters will start off in an Adventurer's Guild located in Kahaer's main city. In this RP, you can form a party with other people and rp quests. The guild takes in quests from all cities, so your characters aren't just limited to staying in Kahaer. Your characters can be human or not human, have magic or not, etc etc. Just please don't make them too overpowered cause that's not fun. Below I'll explain what your characters can be like, then try to explain the areas. Your characters can be, well, anything you want, as long as they sort of follow the rules of the world. Your characters need to be some-what human like and be able to communicate in some way to humans. An example would be a wereanimal-like species. This species are able to transform into their full animal counterpart and their human counterpart, though while in the human form, they maintain some sort of physical part of their animal selves (example, a person able to transform into a fox could have fox ears and/or a fox tail), and some borrowed traits (example, sensitivity to heat) . Then there's species like witches, who are basically just extra-magical humans. Please specify what species your character is, it doesn't have to be any of the examples I listed before. Your characters can also be magical or not, it's up to you. For weapons, you can basically have whatever weapon you want, as long as it's not too OP. Non-magical weapons include stuff like swords, lances, bows, axes, maces, etc. For magic, there's basically two kinds, offensive magic and non-offensive magic. Offensive magic can be used to attack directly, while non-offensive magic can do various other tasks. Offensive magic includes fire spells, thunder spells, etc. Non-Offensive magic includes things like future sight, mind reading, healing, etc. Your character can also have other abilities, like being able to tame non-aggressive beasts, being able to make potions, etc. areas idk: Kahaer: Capital City, basically. The city is full of stores, people and whatnot. Main city is the largest of the cities. Due to the many guilds located there, Kahaer has the lowest amount of monsters, and the ones that do live there are generally very weak. However, the streets are full of criminals misusing their magical abilities or strength, so many quests based in Kahaer are just capturing them. Outside of the city, the area is mostly just fields with streams and isn't as populated as the city. Kahaer has a mostly human population, with about 90% of the people there being human, and a 10% minority of others. Aldrohr: Seaside town. The main city is located next to a beach. Many shops sell fish and other products from the sea, which Aldrohr is famous for. Most of the monsters are aquatic, and a majority aren't very strong, though they're stronger than Kahaer's monsters. Occasionally an extremely strong monster pops up though. Aldrohr has a 75% human population and 25% other population. Most of the area outside the city has many lakes. Lupiur: Forest town. The city is more secluded, and consists of many strangely built huts located in trees, the forest floor, etc, connected by ladders and bridges. Monsters here tend to be in the medium-high range in power and are usually beast-like in appearance. 90% of the population are wereanimals, and about 7% of the population are witches/wizards, while the rest of the 3% are human. Lupiur's shops usually sell rare potion ingredients, plants, etc. Iniothr: Desert town. The area is mostly a desert, but the main town is located in a giant oasis. The city is more of a sketchy place, a site for illegal trades. Monsters are not very common, though the ones that do live in the area tend to be very large. Very low population, around a 50% human population and 50% other population. Droghthr: Mountain town. The area is full of tall mountains and yeah. The city in located inside 3 large, hollow mountains, with houses and shops built into the mountain side. The temperature is very cold, so many wereanimals sensitive to the cold can't visit the area. The town has many mines, as the mountains are rich in minerals. Many blacksmiths often reside here as well. The monsters here are usually either winged, or from underground. The more powerful monsters reside here, though sightings are rare, and the monsters here aren't as aggressive as others (they still are though, and will attack). Dragons tend to reside in Droghthr, though sightings are very few. Dragons are non-aggressive beasts able to summon magic. You know what a dragon is. Yeah. oh yeah btw there's magical items and crap, such as a small pouch able to carry large quantities of items (item-pouches), etc. Summary: This RP is based like an RPG in a fictional country. The country has 5 areas, capital area, sea area, desert area, mountain area and forest area. Your character can be a human or not, but must be somewhat human and be able to communicate in some way to humans. Your character can be magical or not, can wield weapons, and/or have other abilities. There's two kinds of magic, offensive (fire, lightning, etc) and non-offensive (future sight, healing, etc). Abilities are basically special skills your characters can do, like tame beasts, make potions, etc. There, yeah. If you have any questions, go ahead and ask. In fights, try to make it somewhat realistic. Like, don't say things like "magicaly apears behind u and bends u lik a pretzel" Woah here you go, character application thing. Says she's 'just a mage'. Age: Somewhere in her 20's Description (Appearance, clothing and personality) : She has long, black hair, is around 5'3, and has purple eyes. She wears a long, slightly worn out mage's robe, where she keeps her item-pouches. Her robe is black, with a rich crimson inside with golden coloured linings. She wears a black witches' hat bent at an angle. Around her neck is a simple necklace, with a golden chain and a single emerald amulet. She wears black boots and a black glove on her left hand. Her personality comes off as friendly and a bit of a joker, but slightly mysterious. She's seen as a bit of an oddity. Also she pronounces some words a bit strange. Able to use Magic? If so, what kind? : She's a witch, so yeah. She mainly uses non-offensive magic, though she can do some decent ice spells (The ice spells drain her energy more than other spells, so she doesn't use them often). She has future sight and telekinesis (She can't lift anything weighing more than 200 lb with it though). Weapons? (If any) : She has a pair of daggers she keeps in her robe for emergencies, though she's not an expert with them. Abilities (if any): Potion making. Backstory (Optional): That's a secret there bud Other Information: She has a pet barn owl named Rubin. Her owl has no magical abilities, and she seems to just keep him there as a messenger. there wooo. Amethyst eyes scanned over each card carefully, counting to make sure she had all of her cards. Fumbling around with the deck, she eventually put it away, going instead to eye the quest board. It had been a while since the raven-haired mage had taken a job, as she didn't have a party to accompany her. She let out a quiet, bored sigh, resting her chin on her gloved hand.
